Favorite comics of 2014

I haven’t posted anything about the comics I enjoyed the most last year, but I wanted to rectify that. I read a lot of comics, a lot of graphic novels, and a lot of trades, and after letting things percolate for a bit, here is what I dug the most last year, in no particular order.

Deadly Class by Rick Remender and Wes Craig, published by Image Comics.

Moon Knight by Warren Ellis and Declan Shalvey, published by Marvel Comics.

Copra by Michael Fiffe, published by Bergen Street comics.

Lazarus by Greg Rucka and Michael Lark, published by Image Comics.

Zero by Ales Kot and various artists, published by Image Comics.

D4VE by Ryan Ferrier and Valentin Ramon, published by Monkeybrain comics.

White Suits by Frank J. Barbiere and Toby Cypress, published by Dark Horse comics.

Dead Letters by Christopher Sebela and Chris Visions, published by Boom! Studios.

C.O.W.L. by Kyle Higgins and Rod Reis, published by Image Comics.

Enourmous by Tim Daniel and Mehdi Cheggour, published by 215 Ink.

And Then Emily Was Gone by John Lees and Iain Laurie, published by Comixtribe.

There you go. I recommend all of these books without hesitation. Go read them.

Back soon.
